Performance - work in progress - de Sir Alice
I.D.O. (Intention D’Oublier) aborde la question du corps dans l’être ou dans le paraître, dans ce que chacun de nous a construit pour exister comme animal social à une époque où l’influence des médias, des produits de consommations, des avancées technologiques, médicales impose une image construite de toute pièce, inatteignable pour le commun des mortels.
Les résultats du rêve américain et de la société du spectacle des années 60 reposant sur une idéologie économique légitimant l’universalité d’une vision unique de la vie, imposée par des médias solidaires, sont aujourd’hui une société rêvant d’omnipotence, de perfection et d’éternité. En effet, l’artillerie des médias actuels repose encore sur un modèle unique mais complètement fantasque, inhumain, voire divin, dont l’imitation entraîne la perte du vivant de la vie. L’individu se met systématiquement en situation d’échec pour ressembler à cette image, pour être un objet de désir.
Une femme, comme une figurine plastique dans un décor en carton, tente en vain de maintenir son fantasme de femme parfaite. Son corps fait échec, l’humanité se fait entendre. Le son transcrit ses erreurs, accentue ses poses, ses moindres mimiques. En boucle, enfermée dans sa propre image, elle traverse le miroir et s’abandonne totalement, accrochée comme une marionnette aux fantasmes d’une société manquant de repères.

Biographie
Sir Alice, artiste protéiforme, articule son travail autour du son, ces activités se rejoignent toutes et s’influencent, pour donner lieu à une œuvre globale.
Son premier album sorti cette année a fait l’unanimité, pour parler de Sir Alice comme une artiste du monde de demain.
Dans le domaine des arts plastiques, ses installations, faites de sons organiques diffusés à proximité, créant une intimité parfois gênante, donnent à entendre l’intérieur, un voyage dans un corps, un organisme. Ses performances, elles, parlent de l’extérieur, de l’apparence, de la manière dont nous tentons de socialiser notre organisme. Elle se joue de la mise en scène du corps dans un environnement sonore et visuel pour parodier, imiter, contredire, les clichés d’une société prônant le modèle unique. Du point de vue de la recherche, elle se penche sur les interfaces homme/machine (IHM) dans le domaine de la création pour créer des systèmes de captation pour ses propres performances.
Ses concerts, sous le nom de Sir Alice, sont de véritables performances, elle illustre ses conférences à l’aide de dessins animés, elle prône l’anti-technologie tout en passant son temps dans des laboratoires de recherche en musique technologie… Alice Daquet n’a rien de paradoxale, elle est juste une oeuvre d’art total.
